Making memories is exhausting
I'm beat! 4th of July extended weekend wore me out. Lots of late nights and tons of sun. Thursday night we went to Pine Lake Country Club to watch fireworks. Clay enjoyed them from the car. The rest of us cuddled on the grass for the grand show. Friday, we spend the ENTIRE day and night at the beach. Kids, games, food and fireworks were quite prevelant. Saturday, we went to the Nelson's cottage on Portage Lake for even more food, fun and fireworks. This time we watched from the boat. Sunday, to the beach again during the day and to a coworker's wedding at night. I'm ready for a vacation…or at least a nap!

I hope you and your family are doing well.

I saw your comment on our blog but your hotmail address kept bouncing back. I’m new to this blogging scene but I think it’s pretty cool that it ended getting to you. I haven’t really checked out your site yet but I will tonight.
Congratulations on your latest addition! Things have definitely changed a lot for you since working at Republic.
I just have a Nikon D40 but I have a couple nice lenses and a good tripod. We took a trip to Tanzania last year and I did my homework beforehand and ended up shooting literally thousands of pictures. I’ve been kind of pursuing photography more seriously since. I’ve got a slideshow here if you are interested. http://picasaweb.google.com/juddmenkveld/Tanzania2007. (It works best to pause the slideshow and then just arrow through the pics, there are quite a few).
I hope everything is going well for you, Dan and the kids. Talk to you later.
